Megaromania

Sehr schön anzuschauen die Band, aber damit hat es sich auch schon fast, war mein erster Eindruck von Megaromania ("typisch" Undercode eben). Musikalisch schließen sie ungefähr dort an, wo Metis Gretel aufgehört haben. Viel Schein, wenig Sein - der Name war jedenfalls Programm (Megalomania = Größenwahn). Doch als ich mir kürzlich einige ihrer neuen Veröffentlichungen zu Gemüte führte, hörte man durchaus eine Steigerung heraus. Auf jeden Fall mal ein Reinhören wert, auch wenn es weit entfernt davon ist, etwas Neues zu sein.

Ja, find ihre neuen, etwas melodiöseren Sachen, eigentlich auch wieder recht hörbar. Muss sie ja glatt im Auge behalten und überleg mir bei meiner nächsten Bestellung vielleicht eine Single von ihnen zu gönnen

Ab 31. März werden Megaromania und Drummer Leda getrennte Wege gehen ...

Megaromania will be going on a brief activity pause, however, I promise that we will meet again.

Even though there’s just a short amount of time left, I hope that all of our believers can see the five of us on stage until the end.

Nachdem Megaromania im Januar angekündigt hatten ab März zu pausieren und gleichzeitig den Ausstieg von Drummer Leda bekannt gaben, scheint die Band ab Mai ihre Aktivitäten wieder aufzunehmen ..

Thank you for the full house for Megaromania’s Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka tour final, 「Oblivious of farewell」, that took place at Shibuya BOXX and marked their last live with the current members. It was a really exciting live.

Even though Leda graduated from the band after the live, Megaromania will be welcoming a support member to their rank, and will resume activities in May, so please wait for them for a little while.

They will be sponsoring an event on May 15th at Meguro Rock Maykan and on May 22nd at OSAKA MUSE, which will also mark the start of their country-wide tour!

Finally, to Leda,
Thank you for your hard work over these past two years.
You’ve left me with nothing but good memories and impression, so for no speical reason, come and hang out sometime, okay?
